Richard Goodwin

senior consultant

Richard Goodwin is one of the PR world’s village elders, with a career in public affairs that started in 1977.

Along the way he has carved out a sterling reputation as a senior newspaper editor and journalist – including winning a Walkley – the highest award possible for an Australian journalist.

Richard’s most recent role was as Manager Public Affairs for the Department of the Attorney General, and he offers clients great depth of insight and experience when it comes to issues that relate to government, the media and the broader community.

Richard has a particular focus on issue management and helping clients navigate their way through the, often, stormy waters of interaction with the media, government and stakeholder groups.
